BigBangwidth Lightpath Directors are an intelligent circuit cross-connect in a compact 1U rack-mountable format. Each Lightpath Director can be controlled manually via an integrated Command Line Interface, or automatically as part of the Lightpath Accelerator System.
The BigBangwidth LPA306 is a fully optical 6-port lightpath director, supporting up to 3 simultaneous connections among its ports.

The LPA816e is a 16-port electronic Lightpath Director that supports up to 8 independent connections at once.
Features:
- Supports Gigabit Ethernet, and 1 or 2 Gigabit Fibre Channel
- Small Formfactor Pluggable (SFP) port modules for each port
- Supports single-mode or multi-mode fiber
- Supports 1310 nm, 1550 nm, or “colored” optics
- Also supports Gigabit Ethernet copper connections (1000base-T)
- RJ-45 Ethernet connection for remote access
- Telnet and Lightpath Accelerator control interfaces
- RS-232 serial port for system setup and direct control.
